I just got a food steamer?
It's a 8 cup Digital Rice/Food Cooker and I'm amazed by it! I haven't made rice with it yet, but I do use it for cooking chicken and pork. The directions really suck and so I have to guess how to use it. Does anyone else use a steamer for cooking and do you use any sites for recipes?
It would be helpful if we knew the brand as some of us may have one and can clarify the best applications for it.
For good suggestions you can try "allrecipes.com" or "recipezarr.com" type steamed recipes in the search and there will be many to choose from.
Steamers are excellent for vegetables and fish but not redmeats.
