Pizzelle Maker?
I would like to buy one...but there seems to be so many different kinds.
It seems that the non-stick, new, electric ones would be the best, but then why are they seeling a stainless steel one for $60 that doesn't advertise as being non-stick?
The brand "Villaware" pops up everywhere...is this maybe the best?
I lived in Italy for years with a very wealthy family.She had a closet full of electric pizzelle makers given to her for gifts by well intending people.She used a handheld non electric model when she made them every sunday,I think it was cast iron.I tried one of the electric models to see what was quicker and to help her out.They took the same amount of time but they did not taste the same,the cast iron one made pizzelles with better flavor from the same batter.I dont know why,but it did.
