I have a (circa) 1975 GE Food Processor (D2FP2) with bad motor. Is there a way to replace the base?
If I can't replace the base, I'd like to find if anyone makes a food processor with a similar shaft, since I have attachments that I like to use!
I have checked eBay along with the other various parts warehouses. GE sold the appliance section to Black & Decker which then sold it to a holding company... so no parts there either.
Have you checked eBay? I have found old units and parts for things I need all the time.
