Does anyone reading this own a bamix hand blender? Is it worth buying?

I have the Wolfgang Puck hand immersion blender, same thing as the Bamix. I really like it but it's not the sort of thing you would whip out to make a cake or whip cream. It is great for blending stuff in the pan. Also, it is really an must if you are going to try to make a batch of homemade soap.

My husband is French. He likes "potage" which is a fancy way of saying soup that is all blended up together. In France there is this handheld food mill they use but the immersion blender is a lot better to mix that stuff.

Usually, these mixers come with a stand and several blades. I really like mine and would not give it up.
